Whirks of Memphis, TN is looking to hire a full-time Client Success Specialist to join our amazing team! The Client Success Specialist will oversee client accounts, input payroll data, cut payroll checks, generate payroll reports, and be the key point person for our clients' payroll and software questions.

We need your help to service a rapidly growing number of clients! We are seeking an energetic professional who enjoys developing long-lasting relationships with clients. As a part of our team, your aptitude for figures and your problem-solving skills will help us deliver outstanding service to our small business clientele. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

Depending on experience, you will receive an hourly rate of $16.00-$18.00 plus potential quarterly bonuses. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Passion for helping small businesses succeed!
  • Heart of a teacher, with a love of learning, helping, and communicating in all forms.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a customer-facing role. (Any customer service or tech support experience is helpful.)
  • Must be extremely tech-savvy; embrace and learn new technology with ease!
  • Industry-specific payroll experience is preferred but not required.
  • Four-year college degree preferred.
  • Exceptional attitude is a must with a natural ability to work effectively in a client-focused environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented & able to work effectively under deadlines.
  • Ability and desire to take responsibility for your work with limited supervision.
  • Desire to learn and grow your payroll, HR, and HCM skills!

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Support Small Business Clients – Respond to customer calls and emails within two hours, with the goal of resolving the majority of issues within 24 hours. Produce clear email responses with actionable instructions, providing screenshots, documents, and/or tutorial videos as needed.
  • Process Payroll While Striving for 100% Accuracy – Proactively monitor, validate, and act on any highlighted concerns in each payroll run. Communicate payroll status quickly and accurately both internally and to the client. Troubleshoot payroll problems as needed in real-time. Print, seal, and sort checks to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Encourage Continued Growth – Strive to form a long-lasting working relationship with each client. Understand the impact of service quality on client satisfaction and client retention. Attend all training opportunities (on-site and virtual) throughout the year. Fully understand our products and services, initiating meetings with the sales team when new client opportunities arise. Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews by proactively contacting clients to assist with additional trainings to improve their processes and help them get one step better every day!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT US:

We service our clients from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every business day. This full-time position will report daily to our Memphis, TN office. We make numbers feel less daunting and we have a darn good time doing it! We are a business casual office environment. (Yes, you can wear jeans. No, you can't wear a tie.)
